Today is Tuesday, so I've decided to end this book "Tuesday with Morrie."
Mitch Albom, was busy scaling new heights in his career as a sports media reporter for 16 years when he saw his professor on TV on a talk show, disabled and in a wheelchair.
Ridden by guilt against his pledge, in some way, Mitch summons his courage and appears at his professor's doorway after so many years. A 15-minute formal meeting turns into an hour-long conversation, which continued to weekly visits on every Tuesday until his death. Their fatherly-son relationship was rekindled and strengthened throughout their session with book-less lesson. Their topic of discussion revolved around the meaning of life and it was taught from experience.
