Part-II, Dear Mr/Mrs. Immortal

Part-II
Date: 17/9/16
Dear Mr/Mrs. Immortal
Wake up and listen without wavering. I can see pain in you and nervousness in your words. Nonetheless one way or other you will definitely have to face this same tune sooner or later. You must reorient yourself and remain centered in the oneness. The time has come to find your path because your physical breath has stopped and you begin to experience spirit in reality. You came all the way through physical death so far and roaming in the nature of void. In order not to mistake and clear the path forth, contemplate on peace, love, compassion and seek grace from your great spiritual teachers.

You become feeble moment to moment when Buddha’s and bodhisattvas from every corner comes for your rescue but due to pre amassed defilements you see them as in the form of beasts, ghosts and so forth, thereby succumb to victim of all. No matter what terrifying vision may be, always remain composed and remember you yourself is in hold of key to breakthrough this very realm of endless suffering.
By going through your letter I understood that you’re attempting to hang on my support. Nevertheless there is no one who can defy the law of nature, goods beget peace and miscreant beget sorrow. You must follow the path created by your deeds accumulated in the previous life. Moreover I don’t possess and nobody owns this heavenly realm. Neither do anyone hold the key of all other five realm nor do they trap you to suffer but it is your own deed that penalizes you.

Further, you are not going through the proper channel in seeking your next life. No one except Choekigyelpo can decide ones path. You are running out of time. Go to see Chokigyelpo, a man known to be king of truth. Remember same thing is occurring to everyone around you. Do you feel that’s okay to let others undergo same thing as you are experiencing at this very moment. Don’t you have any compassion upon them? Will you let them remain in this realm millions of eons to come? If not than go where your retained merit takes to and after sometime when time ripens for transmitting your present state of life, you will get to come visit here in this realm(haven).by than you gain prowess to shower blessings and dawn help on them.  But for now I regret to let you know that I don’t have any authority to pull you up abruptly. Moreover I’ve many more like you whom I need to attend.
Oh! God, great spiritual teachers and saints please guide him on the way until he achieve the nature of Buddhahood. Everyone desires to visit haven but few makes to it and nobody wants to go to hail but ultimately majority falls in that realm. Buddha’s and bodhisattvas, I pray for you on everyone’s behalf to relieve them all from suffering and take them to the land of ultimate bliss or copper colored-mountain.

Yours truly,

The heaven

The heaven
Sub: Take me as refugee
Respected: god/goddess
Please forgive me for being such an idiot, not being able to unlock the door towards your heavenly realm. Fairly recently, I realized I’m no more in this mundane world and I don't know how long I have been wandering unconsciously in this threatening and grief stricken environment. I cannot see any more of my parents, friends and relatives. It’s completely dark at my stand and I hear the growls, roars and quirking sound like thousands of dragons have been released over my head. Since so long, I remember I’m taunted and haunted by various beasts and wrathful guys in any possible ways. I guess it must have been some months after my arrival here because I’m hungry and thirsty as well. I couldn’t bring even a loaf of bread and yet I couldn’t lead a single friend along with me. I’m scared to death and all alone out here. I think you would be right person to help me now.

I never knew that I should built a good rapport with you while back in earth. By now it’s too late to turn back and follow up all those things. I also never realized I was such a stupid guy for remaining blinded by worldly pleasures and being deafened by all those ignorance. I’ve wasted all my energies in carrying out valueless activity. I’ve wasted my precious life all way running after my desires that bears no merit to carry with me at this time.

Sometime ago, I was told by someone that my seat was already reserved in 18 different divisions of hail realm. It’s of sure that I cannot get out that very place for billions and trillions of eons by once entering through those entrances. Moreover he told me what and how I should undergo all the procedures of sufferings arriving there. Let me forget describing about it ‘cause I can’t even imagine it. The more I roam the more I’m terrorized and tortured by everyone out here. It frightens me so much so that i may shit and pee all together out of fright. Hence, before somebody drags me down please let me come and hide in your realm. I know that even a single day at your place is equivalent to 500 year on earth and it would be much enough for me even if you grant me to stay at least a month or so.
Therefore, please know that I’m writing this short request confidentially from the place called bardo. So, never let anyone below know a hint about it. Kindly please look into my condition and with hundreds of hope, looking forward for your swift support.

Yours faithfully
Departed Soul

Effects of the consumption of alcohol

Effects of the consumption of alcohol

Should we enforce ban on alcoholism in the country? From every angle we see disadvantage surpasses over advantage of alcohol. It is a root cause giving birth to various problem and has got huge impact on economic, in society and community, etc…It is the door way to the disharmony, poverty and bankruptcy.

The consumption of alcohol is very danger either from health as well as religion. There is got to be lot of negative repercussions which troubles every individual mentally and physically. Throughout the world health records shows one of the highest records of alcohol related patients visiting hospital with various diseases.

Alcoholism results in wastage of maximum resources i. e, human and other stuff kinds. Despite such facts people never mind enjoying liquors beyond a limit. Growing such trend in the society also multiplies many difficulties in minimizing the consumption of alcohol. It doesn’t mean government and concerned authorities haven’t made any effort to curve down those problems but it clearly shows poorness in implying those lied down dos and don’ts.

This is a very reason that becomes genesis of social, economic and health crisis whereas family divorce is another issue.  Every one inclusive of government talks and raises their concerns (prohibition of taking drugs, smoking and consuming intoxicating things) but there lacks action to execute it. Laws are very liberal. Had the priority importance on the ban of alcohol has been given we may not have undergone such problem and loss befall on as.

Therefore stringent rule must be framed against alcoholism in the country. Every people as a citizen should respect and follow it. Concerned authorities need to look after and protect and guide those laws. These should be campaigned and create awareness to stimulate youth to deviate from the consumption of alcohol and inform the risk involved in it.

A major reason for Layoug (ལས་གཡོག) in Bhutan

“A major reason for unemployment in Bhutan is due to jobseekers applying for multiple job or better jobs even when they are already employed.”
To what extend do you agree with the above statement? Outline the cause of unemployment in Bhutan? Discuss solutions to the unemployment problem in Bhutan.

Reality of globalization hits the charm of everyone everywhere and alas! The ripple effects has caught a tiny Himalayan kingdom amidst spiraling proportion of unemployment. The shift in the paradigm of development activities since 1960’s had steadfastly nourished the socioeconomic development of a country by noble principle Gross National Happiness, yet many remain insatiate as income progenitor runs out of individuals reach.

Better said than done for those who take it things lightly in blabbing Bhutan as small country with least people shouldn’t face this problem at so early phase. If you have axe to grind the cause and vision to chalk out solutions than there won’t be any statement left for you to say “A major reason for unemployment in Bhutan is due to jobseekers applying for multiple job or better jobs even when they are already employed.”

The epic world changing scenario has provided many opportunities but hardly with distinctive guarantee. Youth unemployment is major crisis Bhutan is facing today. "In the past when people left school they went to work on the land, but today people seem more and more eager to come to the capital Thimpu and other towns in the kingdom to find more lucrative employment." Finance Minister Yeshi Zimba, 2002. “It had been concluded that the major economic challenges is to provide employment for under 20 age groups comprising 40%” (BBC, 2002) back then. Youths are the cream of our nations and are future drivers of our country. They possess energy, talent and potential which can assist for the overall production pool of our nation and productive economic ventures if only utilized in a better and rightly manner.

The Constitution of Bhutan under article 9 states “the State shall endeavor to promote those circumstances that would enable the citizens to secure an adequate livelihood.” Accordingly any government coming to power prioritizes this issue to be pinned down but seldom see’s any improvement. They address the nation as their prime emphasis would be to tackle this consequences and pledge of 100% employment which still lingers in the mind of hopeless jobless citizens with rare opportunity, jobs nowhere to be seen in the market.

The spectacular raising employment problem shaking the country today has awakened many Bhutanese from deep slumber of assurance to worrisome. They start the day with bright smile because they are confided with hopes but it’s just matter of time to see same face shattered without a bit of glow when they return from job market. This is rather opium that contaminates society with social issues than stepping stone towards contributing force and prosperity of our nation. As per the findings UNDP (2016) comprehended Bhutan’s current youth unemployment rate stands at 9.4 per cent which is coupled with growing use of drugs and alcohol. Moreover, inadequacies in skills and education have been found to add to such problems.

Should we get hold onto root cause, there comes voluminous to be taken into considerations. When law of the land firmly declares 60% of total landmark under forest cover than many industrial private, national and international companies, corporates cannot thrive upon limited resources. Their absence means limited vacancies. Annually escalation of graduates, post graduates competing for limited slots when RCSC’s objective is compact and efficient government. Bhutan being land locked country with poor technology never had a chance to employ its people to join navy, air force, atomic energy and space force etc.
Bhutanese education system cannot produce student who all are compatible for scientific and technological sectors. They fail to provide diversity in lessons taught in classes. Did you ever wonder how many Indian teachers are currently deployed in various schools and how many of foreign expatriate’s labor are working in various construction sites.  When Bhutanese look for lucrative and dignified jobs and remain busy roaming in search of job, these people are earning good amount.

The best moment to feed baby is just before they cry and earlier is better to solve unemployment and is worth annihilating afore it turn out so rampant. “Since 2006-2015 unemployment rate averaged 2.56 percentage when highest was in 2010 with 4 percentage and lowest observed in 2013 with 2.1 percentage. In 2015 the rate slightly came down to 2.6 from 2.9 of 2014,” (TRADING ECONOMICS, 2016).

As medication at right times cures illness so is mitigating this issues at this time is never late. In doing so government should provide supporting environment via framing appropriate policy, legislation and strategies. PM Tshering Tobgay said “The Jobs Plan is in the pipeline,” after stating the plan on a new project called the Jobs Plan to identify correct job opportunities for youth in the country during a talk to students at the Gaeddu College of Business Studies on November 2. (Kuensel, 2016). Private sectors need support especially in the areas having potential of creating more jobs. For this Lyonchen highlighted “Bhutan ranked 73rd in ease of doing business this year, while it ranked as 71st in 2015. And we are improving,” “It means our economy is getting better and better, which means the private sector is also getting better.” Lyonchoen said on that same day.

Government should also negotiate with the firms like hydro-power projects to recruit many Bhutanese labors as possible. There should be support and encouragement for budding entrepreneurs and support youths to take up vocational educations and gain skills for employability. Most crucial out of all is to ensure free, just, fair and transparent recruitment either in private or government sectors. Equity and justice should prevail throughout the policies and make it easy processing procedure for everyone’s convenience.

Rather than struggling to get genetically modified vegetables that foods the country’s vegetable market today, its everyone’s duty to give serious thought and try to produce more and nutritious vegetables from our own fallow lands. Youth should be fairly smart enough to come up with more creative ideas and start their own business. Don’t always wait to get employed in white collar but be ready to take even blue collar jobs to gain experience in several field. Never let urban areas overflow with constant rural migrations. Provide better and equal opportunity even in rural areas so as to reduce economic disparities.

Problem with Bhutanese employment is “I can't get a job because I don't have experience, I don't have experience because I can't get a job” is very much right in many ways. Leaders should keep in touch with youths to stay update with their problems in particular and overall job conditions prevailing in the country to boost economic development by sorting out the problems at fastest race.
