My Pen Bleeds...

It little halts an idle pen
Among the barren lines
Calling the letters in queue

Of that pen who's first duty
Brought words into the world,
All their woe bears slavery's scar
Under the bondage of trading messages

From the sullen mouth
My pen bleeds to the day wanes
Bloody is his head
Yet never surrender

After it gets past the lines
Abandoned are the legacies
So laden in meaning
They always begin dragging too soon

Out of the onerous adventure
Hath yet earned his honor
To be mightier than the sword

Between my finger and my thumb
My pen bleeds to the day wanes

Hereby, I join Bhutan Civil Service fraternity

With His Excellency Foreign Minister, Lyonpo Tandi Dorji
My parents being poor, have only their dreams; they have spread their dreams under my feet to let me tread over it. My parents being unfortunate, never had an opportunity to study, but they grabbed the chance this time and cleared the path under my feet to let me pass through it and finally I have traveled thus far. Up and down the journey I have learned from my parents is never to squander our talents because they kinda did sadly in the face of poor fate to study. Watching them grew me that I truly would prefer not to confront this world with a similar fate coming on my way. I owe this to them for getting me out of an unfortunate trap.

Luckily, the ball is still in my court to focus on a person I am still working on becoming because have I missed some of their guidance would have driven me down the wrong path whereby I would be not even close to the person I am today. Appa, Amma, both of you have definitely knocked some sense into me to believe in the bitter root of education which ultimately bears sweet fruit.

It is over and beyond the words to express my appreciation, but I think it is a decent start to owe you both forever and ever love. You are the absolute world to me as you toiled so, so, hard to create an opportunity so that I can see the world through better and awakened lenses of providing service as Civil servant. Much obliged for both of you being the parents that perfectly meets the definition of 'wonderful parents' and giving me the life every child deserves. I love you both more than anything.
Thank you, teachers,, friends, and relatives. The enormity of your words and deeds are bigger than the soul can anticipate or mind can conceal. All of these are the pieces, an ultimate part of my whole success up till now.
Each and every one of you helped me become a piece which belongs to a part of a large network of civil servants. Today I passed through this entrance of auspicious occasion to become the member of the congregation who shall serve the Tsa Wa Sum with timeless value of Tha Damtsig and Ley-Gudrey. Under the supervision of great leaders, hope this career treats me well.

Good bye 2018

One of these years
Was excessively long.
I was looking for inner me,
And it had gone fairly undiscovered.
One of these days
was yet too long.
I had a go at pursuing good times
However, my prayer wasn't answered.
One of these times
Wasn't that long.
When I started living in time,
It gave me a reason to live.
Another year has gone by
If you have broken anyone's heart,
Go and fix it.
If you have missed any target,
Go and aim better next time.
If you have invested any meaningful deeds,
Go celebrate and bid farewell to 2018.
Live in the present and feel the positive vibes.

Safe Journey

Imagine going through a day where every time someone smiles at you, greet at you, and hold the door open to the field of learning. Wow! Such an opportunity to take in each day to learn without costing a single dime. So fortunate is he, who has got this opportunity.
Should it happen to you, will you miss it?
-Definitely NO! right?

...Pema sir and Amma...
Over the past 7 months, you gave me this privilege that I got to work with you. Working with you was such an interesting thing that inspired me to wish if I still had some more time to imbibe your knowledge and other informations. Indeed, it was learning for me than working with your project.  This is something that I enjoyed more than my training in RIM, i don't regreat saying it of the fact in the light that I throughly enjoyed working and learning with you more then what I did in insitute. I just want to thank you sir for opening my eye towards linguistics and a whole lot of live-long lessons.
Working with you has rekindled in me of the insightful age-old adage by Socrates, "Great minds discuss ideas." This is very true for people like you who see everything in positive light and draw positive lessons out of it.
I have learned many things from you, and it was fun working with you.

Two of you are so grateful than words can say. I wish all the best for your remaining PhD years.
.....HAVE A SAFE FLIGHT...

Impermanence

Past the umpire skyline

Is the place where obscurity preys on splendor,

And the death ends up savage

To wound the mortal from the behind.

In the midst of a quiet and stream of life,

The wavy thoughts kept swelling

What's more, it stirs the series of urge

To rule the feeling to go off to some faraway place.

However, behind the truthful wall,

I wish to hid all the evil deeds.

All day long, I kept hunting for positive thoughts

To seal oneself in the confines of benevolence.

At the point when the objective slings the goal,

Never did I overlook of god in a solution

To live with worth.

Therefore, May I leave without being sorry over my existence.

"Amma, you gave me everything from the farmland and it's my turn to get you sth from the University"

In the far-flung corner tucked in the midst of mountain ranges, I own the timeless lesson of my childhood mostly from my small community “joenkhar”. The place of mud and swamps, streams and rocks, beasts and forest have introduced me to a whole lot thing, out of which I consider so dear to me are those small pebbles, wooden toys, and a medal made out of mud which I often used as an accolade to adorn myself while playing with other kid playmates.
Thence I still had a small dream of doing what I enjoy doing the normal kind of stuff but never imagined of arriving at this moment to receive Gold Medal in the land away from home. Because typically, big thoughts, for me, are just cocoons hanging from the dripping branches gazing at the stars like sparkling diamonds with no substance within.

Nonetheless, my heart swells with a sea of tears over every time I thought of my parents painstakingly striving from sunup till sundown for me, and my sibling. My poor dad and mom bear the major share of struggles in my entire education process till now. This gradually served the purpose as the instigator to my aspirations to nourish and nurture my dreams until it comes to life. To cut to the chase, with each passing time I realized that all the accomplishments are just a fragrance of hard work, care, and love from parents and friends in the wake of diligence. The path of achieving something is very difficult to travel but the journey is worth rejoicing.

It is very hard to accurately put into words the emotion and feeling I accrue from receiving this Gold Medal. There are so many people to thank who helped me achieve this result. I am extremely well supported by my parents, friends, and teachers in every step of my life until now. Thank you, everyone, from the bottom of my heart for letting me realize and achieve my dreams. I’m immensely joyed to heartily thank you all and henceforth I would still count upon your blessings. Please grant me your favor as always.

Thank you so much Jimba, Sheyrab and Atta Thinley. I'm deeply touched by your unwavering support and even so over the surprise move of 'Khadar' adornment which made this event more auspecious, unforgetable and grateful for me.

Kadren Chey

Governor of Uttarakhand: Baby Rani Maurya
Dear Appa and Amma,
………………………….Like a melody you are to me; that’s sweetly played in tune. At the thoughts of your marvelous deeds unto us (children), I beseech and honor you. You taught me life is supposed to be hard and now I realize the hard is what makes it great. In the face of tedious life, you have been as bold as brass; as tough as leather; as clear as crystal and as good as gold to pave a way for my educational journey. With the heart-full of utmost happiness let me give a loud shout out to the world that two of you are my greatest heroes. Like the wind fanning fire, pearls of your wisdom put spoke in my wheel of life to arrive at this very moment. A moment that knew no bound of happiness.

Yes! Even gold and medal must tumble down and in the dust be equal made, let alone success and achievement, everything is just for a momentary existence but moments like this is so rare to come by and takes great deal to achieve. It is weird not to be weird because it is the beginning of the end of the past, and you are never too old to become younger to celebrate our collective achievement….appa and amma……
........        ........        .........       ........       ..........  ..... .................................................
If God ever wants me to have a superpower, I wish to have a one and only ‘the power of time.’ So that I can go back in time and heal all the painful moments of my poor parents who sacrificed everything to see me growing up and becoming the son of their dreams. At the crack of daybreak, they have to abandon their warm cozy bed in pursuit of earning bread and butter for the family. Life was so cruel to be kind then and now I want to offer you this a very gift to both of you (Gold Medal).

Dear teachers,
Thank you for instigating in me the thirst of knowledge and teaching every means to get quenched the passion through study. You helped instill in me the hunger for righteousness and wisdom, the craving for perfection and ignition to my intellect and set my dreams on glow. Nothing mattered more than selfless lessons you taught me through the books, jokes, discussions, and chit-chats that helped me crack the cocoon of illusion deep inside to realize the value of education. Humbly put you all are magnificent.

For you all my beautiful, smart and talented friends, I offer my deepest gratitude as you all helped me to define me as the man I am today. Your filial support, care, and bromance come a long way and it has to continue for eternity in guiding me. We are judged by the people around us. As I’m so you all are. I stand at this very place because of endless and limitless support from every one of you. It’s not fair as my words won’t suffice to thank you all but I’m very much indebted as it gave me a new page to write my history of victory all over.

Use Me or Not? – “Dustbin”

The more you dispose of waste on me,
The better I serve my purpose.
And the best,
You become part of the solution.
The lesser you feed me of waste,
The faster the pollution.
And the worst,
You are still part of the problem.
The better you handle me with care,
The longer the duration I can serve.
And together,
We can cleanse our planet.
The more you dirty me,
The cleaner you become.
Provide bin with dust

And let it be a dustbin.

“Where words fail, music speaks.” –Hans Christian Andersen

Now or never! It’s never late than not. Standing on the strategic edge of student’s life I caught the glimpse of nearly seventeen years of a journey and glancing ahead saw the path that led endlessly. All good and bad, beautiful and stressful, happy and sad memories loomed over my head promptly at the speed of lightning strike and discovered that I’m still trapped in the vicious circle of poor confidence. I’m being haunted by anxiety, insecurity and so forth which at times I cannot define what keeps me holding back.
The learning circle is far from completion, nonetheless I have missed so many precious opportunities otherwise it would have worked wonders to be a little more confident each moment hitherto. Even then while I’m very much interested in doing anything that comes on my way but the biggest hitch that withholds me from embarking upon it is being low self-esteemed. The things that I can handle being alone becomes a story of failure in the crowd and among other fellows. Should the world function by being every man enclosed within four walls than it would be blessing for people like me. Nevertheless it requires one to compete with millions of potential candidate in this ever challenging world to sustain on the principle of ‘survival of the fittest.’
Therefore, whatever I do, I try to do it for the cause of emboldening my confidence. I don’t know how far I’m doing justice to myself, parents and teachers but being in this final year before entering into the busy civil servant network I want to experience at least a bit and bytes of all the sports and co-curricular activities. For the first time, I have diverted my attention from academics towards other co-curricular activities. At the end of the year hope I would be able to walk out from RIM with a heavy load of confidence to face the situation in a better way.

And the yet to unfold scenario falls under the above-mentioned essence which is one among few means that I undertook to tackle my lacking strong confidence…
The funny side of the story is that I couldn’t share and did not talk about writing this song to anyone even to my friends who are within the close circle. Not even to my parents and only one who knew it was Zhegyel studio. Because I didn’t have guts to even think of sharing this idea with others. I have actually started working on this song since the first term but couldn’t actualize it as I was worried of getting failed in the process. I wrote this lyric one fine afternoon after the class within half an hour yet coming up with the tune took me few days. As the nature of my work was secret, I had to hum and sing silently within. After much lone practice mostly while walking on the way to the classroom and during visits to the washroom where nobody hears me sing…lol, I gave tune to the lyrics finally. After completion of developing tune I wanted to record it as soon as possible to put this work to an end but then due to some appointment problems with studio person, it got delayed by two to three weeks. After all, I’m happy that I have used my pocket money for recording this song which I can cherish it's worth forever otherwise it would have disappeared long before realizing on which things I have spent. Thank you Dad and Mom for funding to record my song which helped me to realize my childhood dream of recording song one day in the studio.

However, there isn’t any other hidden motives, agenda or stories behind writing this song. Of course, the other factor that dragged me towards this work is purely my strong passion for music. Music is something magical that binds together everyone irrespective of age, gender, creed, religion, etc. for the common goal of happiness. If the world is confused with miscommunication, music is the medium with the coherent messages to enlighten; if the world is plagued with chronic battle, music is the remedy to unite them all; if the word is thirsty of happiness, music is the solution to quench it. Music is part of my life and my interest in music glows brighter all day long and that I wish to continue. Gung Karsel Daw/ དགུང་དཀར་གསལ་ཟླཝ would be uploaded to my YouTube Channel. Visit my YouTube channel “JamyangEdutainment.”
If I’m to dedicate, I humbly do it for my dad, mom, Azhee (sister), two Anus (brothers) and to all the friends.
Without music, life would be a mistake”༼རོལ་མོ་མེད་པའི་འཚོ་བ་ནི།།་ནོར་འཁྲུལ་ཞིག་ལས་མ་འདས་སོ།།༽
